Tours in Nuuk - Nuuk Fjord Adventure
Nuuk fjord adventure
Join us on an unforgettable journey through Nuuk Fjord, the world's second-largest fjord system, where the ice shimmers in countless shades of blue, waterfalls cascade over ancient cliffs, and quiet settlements whisper stories from another time.
We begin the voyage through a landscape so enchanting it almost feels unreal. Mountains rise in fantastic formations, mirrored perfectly in the still water. We make a stop by a roaring waterfall before heading on to Kapisillit, a small settlement at the far end of the fjord. Here, you’ll have time ashore to soak in the peacefulness and everyday life – simple, beautiful, and full of soul.
Next, we set course for the Icefjord, where nature unfolds in pure magic. Icebergs and ice floes drift out into the fjord system – some as black as night, others as blue as the sky. In the summer, there’s a good chance of spotting whales, and if you’re feeling adventurous, perhaps a dip in the clear waters?
The final stop is Qoornoq, a former settlement where silence speaks volumes. Colorful houses cling to the mountainside, once home to fishermen and hunters, now a summer retreat for people from Nuuk.
Here, you’ll go ashore and feel history all around you. No roads. No shops. This is not just a boat tour. It’s a breath. A discovery. A true Greenlandic adventure.
